The electronic device KB-xx-AIO is designed for measuring, reading and control of gas and metrological equipment by means of instruments and sensors connected to the gas networks or to objects designed for the servicing of the network. The connection between them is provided by wireless communication. The electronic device KB-xx-AIO is a completely autonomous device and it can be produced in various configurations intended for a specific object. It is in fact a multi-functional multiprocess system, distributed with tasks in the object and communication section as well as with the opportunity for supply from a solar and a battery source. Electronic device KB-xx-AIO is designed for universal application in the construction of automation objects with a remote connection via GSM/GPRS environment and respectively an application on a server as well as WEB applications.


Electronic device KB-xx-AIO is a universal multiprocessor system, distributed with tasks in the object and communication section as well as with the opportunity for supply from a solar and a battery source with reserved accumulator. The use of modern elements /micropower microprocessor MSP 430 c I/O signals and in-built analog-digital converter of “Texas Instruments” with quite low consumption of power supply from 2.4V to 3.6V and the suitable technical solutions allow the realization of consumption of the processor and measurement part at 0.01 mA.

Electronic device KB-xx-AIO gives the opportunity for measuring a number of variables, their conversion and archiving in various formats volatile memory for each measuring channel. The measured values are stored in digital form and they are available for the user via the serial port for connection to a computer, radio-modem RF and GSM/GPRS. KB-xx-AIO is supplied with a watch for “real time” and volatile memory that stores all archives and settings. The following alarm messages are provided:

  • Opening of the device box
  • Interruption of the cable of the solar panel (the connection with the solar panel is a three-wire cable, as one of the wires is used as a panel alarm.)
  • Low accumulator voltage (programmable preset value parameter)
  • Low environmental temperature (programmable preset value parameter)
  • High environmental temperature (programmable preset value parameter)
  • Attempt for unregulated entry in EEPROM. li>Attempt for unregulated resetting (restart) of the controller.

These alarm events are transmitted via communication module and are registered in the volatile memory of the device with a date and time of the event.
